The Edit menu is
The menu choices are grouped into the following groups:
Change History.
These menu items allow the user to undo recent changes to a worksheet.
Operations on selected areas.
These menu items enable selected cell contents to be moved around a spreadsheet, moved between sheets or beween workbooks.
Data removal operations.
All of these operations remove data from the worksheet. They differ in the type of data removed and the re-arangement of remaining data. The differences are explained below.
Other operations on worksheets.
These menu entries do not group together logically. Each entry is explained in detail below.
This menu contains:
Undo — Undoes the last action undertaken.
Redo — Reverses the previous undo operation, restoring the worksheet to its orginal state.
Cut — Remove the content in the currently selected cells and save it.
Copy — Make a copy of the current selection to be pasted later.
Paste — Paste whatever is in the cut buffer at the cursor.
Paste Special — Paste from the cut buffer, but with more options as to what to paste. Useful for pasting just format, or just values, etc.
Clear -> — This sub menu contains:
All —Clear every cell.
Formats —Clear the format from selected cells.
Comments —FIXME
Content —FIXME
Delete — Deletes the currently selected region
Delete Sheet — Select every cell in the worksheet.
Select All — Select every cell in the worksheet.
Goto Cell... — FIXME
Recalculate — FIXME
