The command line options are simply shorthand for setting the X-resources.
--user-file fileUses file as the
user description, -f is an alias for
--user-file.
--system-file fileUses file as the system description file.
--icon-file-path dir_1:dir_2:…Sets the iconFilePath resource to be the list of colon separated directories. Note that each directory must have the trailing separator '/'.
--help-file-path dir_1:dir_2:…Sets the helpFilePath resource to be the colon separated list of directories. Note that each directory must have the trailing separator '/'.
--reminder-file fileUses file as the file in which to store reminders.
--status-areaUses a status area to present information to the user.
--dialogsUses dialogs to present information to the user.
--consoleSend the messages to stdout.
--errorSets the level of reported messages to allow error messages only.
--warnAllows the user to see both error and warning messages.
--infoAny information messages generated by rTc are also visible (as well as errors and warnings). Information messages include output generated by an executed program.
--beginnerSimplifies the user interface a little (hardly visible), and enforces only error messages to be passed to the user.
--expertremoves the restrictions that
--beginner sets.
--singleonly runs rTc on the current display.
--helpprints out a usage message, -h is an
alias for this.
--mbeepswitched on message beeps.
--no-mbeepswitched off message beeps.
--ebeepswitched on execute beeps.
--no-ebeepswitched off execute beeps.
